Route 4032 Fern Hollow Road Emergency Slide Repair Begins Tuesday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing emergency slide remediation work on Fern Hollow Road (Route 4032) in Sewickley Hills Borough, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, April 21 weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 6:00 AM on Tuesday, a portion of Fern Hollow Road will close to through traffic around-the-clock between Audubon Road and Camp Meeting Road continuously through mid-June. Crews will conduct emergency slide repair work. Traffic will be detoured.

South of the Closure

  • From Fern Hollow Road, turn onto Audubon Road
  • Turn left onto Little Sewickley Creek Road
  • Turn left onto Henry Road
  • Turn left onto Camp Meeting Road
  • Stay straight onto Fern Hollow Road
  • End detour

North. of the Closure

  • Same detour in opposite direction

Local access will be maintained.

Crews from Allison Park Contractors, Inc. will conduct the work.
