Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Shenango Road (Route 4017) and 37th Street Extension (Route 4040) in Chippewa Township, Beaver County, will begin Tuesday, September 8 weather permitting.
To accommodate gas line replacement work, the following restrictions will occur:
Shenango Road (Route 4017)
- Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur between Oakville Road and Crosswynds Drive from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekdays through late November
37th Street Extension (Route 4040)
- Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur between Shenango Road and Lipinwood Drive from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays through late November
Crews from Precision Pipeline will conduct gas line replacement work for Columbia Gas.
Please use caution if traveling through the corridor. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
