    Route 380 Bigelow Boulevard Paving Work Begins Tuesday in Pittsburgh

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing paving work on Route 380 (Bigelow Boulevard) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday through Friday, September 29-October 2 weather permitting.

    To accommodate paving work, there will be alternating single-lane restrictions on Bigelow Boulevard from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day according to the schedule below:

    Tuesday and Wednesday, September 29-30

    • Eastbound Bigelow Boulevard between I-579 and Herron Avenue

    Thursday and Friday, October 1-2

    • Westbound Bigelow Boulevard between Herron Avenue and I-579

    PennDOT crews will conduct this work and are coordinating work zones with the inspection activities previously announced.

    Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
