Route 3092 Stowe Tunnel Inspection Activities Tuesday in Stowe Township

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing inspection work in the Stowe Tunnel (Route 3092/Tunnel Way/7th Street) in Stowe Township, Allegheny County, will occur Tuesday, August 18 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur between Ridge Avenue and Route 51 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday. Crews from GFT will conduct inspection activities requiring tunnel liner work.

Please use caution if traveling on this bridge. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
