Route 3015 Snowden Road Slide Repair Begins Wednesday in South Park

Snowden Road to close to traffic around-the-clock.

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing slide repair work on Snowden Road (Route 3015) in South Park Township, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, August 5 weather permitting.

Snowden Road will close to traffic between Piney Fork Road and Sheplar Drive beginning at approximately 7:00 AM Wednesday and remain closed around-the-clock through late August. Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct slide repair work including shoulder and road reconstruction. Traffic will be detoured.

South of the closure

  • Head east on Piney Fork Road
  • Turn left onto Gill Hall Road
  • Turn left onto Old Clairton Road
  • Turn left onto northbound Route 51 (Clairton Boulevard)
  • From northbound Route 51, take the ramp to Curry Hollow Road toward South Park
  • From Curry Hollow Road, bear left onto Cochran Mill Road
  • Continue on Cochran Mill Road to Snowden Road
  • End detour

North of the closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction
