Route 28 Overhead Sign Inspection Activities Friday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overhead sign inspection activities in various locations along Route 28 in Allegheny County will occur Friday, April 17 weather permitting.

Overhead sign inspection activities requiring single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday in the following locations:

  • Northbound Route 28 at the Pittsburgh Mills Boulevard (Exit 12A) exit in Frazier Township
  • Northbound Route 28 approximately one-half mile south of the Pittsburgh Mills Boulevard (Exit 12A) exit in Springdale Township
  • Southbound Route 28 approximately one-half mile south of the I-279 North/East Ohio Street (Exit 1B) exit in the City of Pittsburgh

Crews from Mackin Engineers & Consultants and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the inspection work.
