Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection activities on Route 28 in Allegheny County will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, August 25-26 weather permitting.
There will be single-lane restrictions along Route 28 to accommodate inspection activities of the structures over the Allegheny Valley railroad from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, August 25
- Southbound Route 28 just south of the on-ramp at the Route 8/Etna/Butler (Exit 5) interchange
Wednesday, August 26
- Northbound Route 28 just south of the off-ramp at the Route 8/Etna/Butler (Exit 5) interchange
Crews from A&A Consultants will conduct the inspection activities.
