Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing inspection work on the Birmingham Bridge which carries Route 2085 over the Monongahela River in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Wednesday and Thursday, June 3-4 weather permitting.
Lane restrictions will occur in both directions on the Birmingham Bridge at the northern approach near Fifth Avenue from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. Crews from HDR, Inc. and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct bridge inspection work.
Please use caution if traveling on this bridge. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
