Route 2080 Hunter Road Restrictions Begin Monday in Penn Hills

Hunter Road to close to traffic around-the-clock beginning mid-August.

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing slide repair work on Hunter Road (Route 2080) in the Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County will begin Monday, August 3 weather permitting.

To accommodate preparatory work for slide repair operations, single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur on Hunter Road between Highview Drive and Springwood Drive from 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM weekdays through Monday, August 10.

Hunter Road is anticipated to close to traffic around-the-clock beginning mid-August. Additional details will be provided in advance of the closure being implemented.

PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct the work.
