Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing slide repair work on Hunter Road (Route 2080) in the Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, August 11 weather permitting.
Beginning at approximately 7:00 AM Tuesday, Hunter Road between Highview Drive and Springwood Drive will close to traffic around-the-clock through late August to accommodate slide repair operations. Traffic will be detoured.

- Head west on Hunter Road
- Hunter Road becomes Plum Street
- Turn left onto Allegheny River Boulevard
- Turn left onto Sandy Creek Road (Route 130)
- Turn left onto Verona Road, bear right to continue onto Saltsburg Road
- Turn left onto Hulton Road
- Turn left onto Hamil Road
- Turn left onto Hunter Road
- End detour
East of the closure
- Same detour in the opposite direction
PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct the work.
