Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing emergency maintenance operations on Thompson Run Road (Route 2065) in the Municipality of Monroeville and Wilkins Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, August 24 weather permitting.
Beginning at 7:00 AM Monday, Thompson Run Road will close to traffic between the intersection of Rodi Road/Larimer Avenue and Northern Pike around-the-clock through 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 26. PennDOT crews will conduct debris removal activities, approach road patching, and rock lining work at the structure carrying Thompson Run Road over Thompson Run. Traffic will be detoured.

- Take the ramp to eastbound William Penn Highway/Business 22
- Turn left onto Northern Pike
- Turn left onto Thompson Run Road
- End detour
North of the closure
- Same detour in the opposite direction
