    Route 2058 Verona Road Drilling Work Begins Tuesday in Penn Hills

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing drilling work on Verona Road (Route 2058) in the Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday through Thursday, September 1-3 weather permitting.

    Verona Road will have alternating lane restrictions controlled by flaggers at the intersection with Lincoln Road from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.

    Crews from Armstrong Drilling will conduct core drilling operations.

    Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
