Route 2058 Hulton Road Slide Repair Work Starts Monday in Plum

Hulton Road to close to traffic around-the-clock.

 

Pittsburgh Regional Transit P16H Penn Hills Flyer via Harmar service impacts to occur during this closure.

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing slide repair work on Hulton Road (Route 2058) in Plum Borough, Allegheny County will begin Monday, August 24 weather permitting.

Beginning at 7:00 AM Monday, Hulton Road will close to traffic between Eastern Avenue and Morath Lane around-the-clock through Friday, September 18. Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct slide repair work. Traffic will be detoured.

West of the closure

  • Head west on Hulton Road
  • Continue to the intersection with Hulton Road/Coxcomb Hill Road
  • Turn left to continue on Hulton Road
  • Continue to the intersection with Allegheny River Boulevard
  • Turn left onto Allegheny River Boulevard
  • Turn left onto Sandy Creek Road (Route 130)
  • Turn left onto Verona Road, bear right to continue onto Saltsburg Road
  • Turn left onto Leechburg Road
  • Turn left onto Milltown Road, bear left onto Hulton Road
  • Continue to the intersection with Hulton Road/Coxcomb Hill Road
  • Turn left to continue on Hulton Road
  • End detour

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Additionally, throughout the duration of this closure, Pittsburgh Regional Transit will convert the P16H Penn Hills Flyer via Harmar to P16L Penn Hills Flyer via Leechburg to/from Unity-Trestle Road with service ending at Leechburg Road at Milltown Road. Service to/from Harmar Oakmont, and Hulton Road (including Hulton Arbors) will be unavailable until the reopening slated for September 18.
