Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing roadway improvement work is underway on Route 168 (Centennial Avenue, Elmwood Boulevard, Second Street, Market Street, Ohioville Road) in South Beaver and Darlington townships and Darlington, New Galilee, and Big Beaver boroughs, Beaver County.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Route 168 between the Lawrence County line and Route 51 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day through early November. Flaggers will assist drivers through work zones as needed. Weekend work is permissible.
The prime contractor is Lindy Paving on this $3.93 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, base repairs, curb replacement, and other various construction related activities.
