    Route 148 Lysle Boulevard Utility Work Extended in McKeesport

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Route 148 (Lysle Boulevard) in the City of McKeesport, Allegheny County has been extended.

    A single lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions of Route 148 between Evans Avenue and Center Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day through mid-October to accommodate duct bank installation work by Duquesne Light.

    Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
