Overhead Sign Inspection Activities Today in Allegheny, Lawrence Counties

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overhead sign inspection activities in various locations in Allegheny and Lawrence counties will occur today, Tuesday, February 17 weather permitting.

Overhead sign inspection activities requiring single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday in the following locations:

Lawrence County

  • Route 224 at Sampson Street (Route 4002) in the City of New Castle
  • Westbound Route 422 approximately ½ mile east of I-376 in Union Township

Allegheny County

  • Westbound I-376 at the Clinton (Exit 52) interchange in Findlay Township

Crews from Mackin Engineers & Consultants and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the inspection work.
