Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing overhead sign inspection activities in various locations in Allegheny County will occur Monday through Friday, January 19-23 weather permitting.
Overhead sign inspection activities requiring single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day according to the following schedule:
Monday, January 19
- Route 65 in both directions between the West End and Fort Duquesne Bridges in the City of Pittsburgh
- Route 885 (Boulevard of the Allies) in both directions at the Liberty Bridge/I-579 exit in the City of Pittsburgh
- Northbound Route 885 (Boulevard of the Allies) at the West 376 Downtown/Fort Pitt Bridge off-ramp in the City of Pittsburgh
Tuesday, January 20
- Route 22 (William Penn Highway) in both directions between the I-376 interchange and Route 286 in the Municipality of Monroeville
- Eastbound Route 22 (William Penn Highway) at the East 286 off-ramp toward Golden Mile Highway in the Municipality of Monroeville
- Pennsylvania Turnpike ramp to westbound Route 22 in the Municipality of Monroeville
Wednesday, January 21
- Route 885 (Boulevard of the Allies) in both directions at the Forbes Avenue exit in the City of Pittsburgh
- Route 2208 (Boulevard of the Allies) at the Grant Street exit in the City of Pittsburgh
- McArdle Roadway west of the Liberty Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh
Thursday, January 22
- Westbound Route 30 ramp to I-376 (Parkway East) toward Pittsburgh/Monroeville in Forest Hills Borough
- Westbound Route 30 near the West I-376/22/30 Pittsburgh/Monroeville exit in Wilkinsburg Borough
- Eastbound Route 30 at the East Pittsburgh/Turtle Creek exit in North Braddock Borough
Friday, January 23
- Southbound Route 885 at the Glenwood Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh
- Southbound Route 885 near Bates Street in the City of Pittsburgh
- Northbound Route 3069 (West Liberty Avenue) in both directions near the South 51 toward Uniontown exit in the City of Pittsburgh
- Southbound Route 65 at the McKees Rocks Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh
Crews from Mackin Engineers & Consultants and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the inspection work.
