Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing inspection work on the Birmingham Bridge which carries Route 2085 over the Monongahela River in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Friday, June 26 weather permitting.
To allow crews to conduct Birmingham Bridge inspection activities, a single-lane restriction will occur on northbound (inbound) Boulevard of the Allies under the structure from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday. The restrictions could be lifted earlier if the work is completed sooner.
Crews from HDR, Inc. and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct bridge inspection work.
