Northbound I-279 Parkway North Maintenance Activities Tonight in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing maintenance operations on northbound I-279 (Parkway North) in the City of Pittsburgh and Ross Township, Allegheny County will occur tonight, Thursday, October 8 weather permitting.

Northbound I-279 will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic between the McKnight Road/Evergreen Road (Exit 4) and the Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) interchanges from 10:00 PM tonight, Thursday, to 5:00 AM Friday morning. PennDOT crews will conduct maintenance activities on the structure carrying Route 19 traffic over I-279.

Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
