Northbound I-279 Parkway North Lane Restriction Tuesday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a northbound lane restriction on I-279 (Parkway North) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Tuesday, May 12 weather permitting.

Bridge inspection activities requiring a single lane restriction on northbound I-279 at East Ohio Street will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday. Crews from Mackin Engineering and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the inspection work.

Please use caution if traveling on the ramps.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
