    Northbound I-279 Maintenance Work Begins Today in Ohio Township

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing maintenance work along northbound I-279 in Ohio Township, Allegheny County will begin today, Monday, September 28 weather permitting.

    There will be a single-lane restriction on northbound I-279 at the structure carrying traffic over Mt. Nebo Road continuing north approximately one-half mile. Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct maintenance work within the median area from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each weekday through Friday, October 9.

    Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
