Interstate 79 Inspection Activities Monday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection activities on Interstate 79 in Bridgeville Borough and South Fayette Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday, June 1 weather permitting.  

There will be single-lane restrictions and shoulder closures on I-79 in both directions from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM just north of the Route 50/Bridgeville (Exit 54) interchange.

PennDOT staff will conduct this inspection work on the structures over Chartiers Creek. Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
