Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection activities on I-79 in Marshall Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday and Tuesday, August 10-11 weather permitting.
To accommodate bridge inspection activities of the I-79 structures over the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76), single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions of I-79 between the Warrendale (Exit 75) and Youngstown OH/Harrisburg/I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike (Exit 77) interchanges from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM according to the schedule below:
Monday, August 10
- Northbound I-79
Tuesday, August 11
- Southbound I-79
Crews from NTM Engineering, Inc. will conduct the inspection activities. Drivers should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
