    I-376 Parkway East Overnight Restrictions This Week in Allegheny County

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overnight lane and shoulder restrictions on I-376 (Parkway East) in Churchill Borough and the Municipalities of Monroeville and Penn Hills, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday through Thursday nights, September 29-October 1 weather permitting.

    Sign and electrical work, requiring single lane and shoulder restrictions, will occur overnight on I-376 from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM according to the following schedule:

    ·       Tuesday night, September 29 – Each direction on I-376 at the Penn Hills (Exit 81) interchange

    ·       Wednesday night, September 30 - Westbound I-376 between the Monroeville (Exit 84) and Penn Hills (Exit 81) interchanges

    ·       Thursday night, October 1 - Eastbound I-376 at the Penn Hills (Exit 81) interchange

    Crews from Bronder Technical Services will perform the operations.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
