I-376 Parkway East Bridge Inspection Saturday Morning in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection activities on I-376 (Parkway East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Saturday morning, May 16 weather permitting.

Bridge inspection activities, requiring a single-lane restriction, will occur from 6:00 AM to noon Saturday in the following locations:

  • Ramp from southbound I-279 to westbound I-376 (the lower deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge)
  • Ramp from Liberty Avenue to westbound I-376 (the lower deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge)
  • Ramp from westbound I-376 (the upper deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge) to northbound I-279 (Parkway North)

Crews from Markosky Engineering and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct bridge inspection activities. All ramps will remain open as work occurs.
