I-376 Fort Pitt Tunnel, Bridge Overnight Lane Restrictions Begin Sunday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing lane restrictions in the Fort Pitt Tunnel and on the Fort Pitt Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Sunday through Thursday nights, May 17-21 weather permitting.

A single lane restriction will occur in the Fort Pitt Tunnel in each direction and on the Fort Pitt Bridge in the westbound (outbound) direction from 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM each night. PennDOT crews will conduct electrical work.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts
