Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising drivers that portions of the following state roadways are closed or restricted to traffic due to inclement weather as of 10:00 PM:
Allegheny County
- Route 30 at Electric Avenue in East Pittsburgh and North Braddock boroughs – Closed in both directions due to a downed tree
- Bull Creek Road (Route 1034) between Howes Run Road and Lardintown Road in Fawn Township – Closed due to a downed tree in wires
Lawrence County
- Route 18 between Route 158 and Johnston Road in Wilmington Township – Closed due to downed trees
- Route 351 between Gilmore Road and Kauffman Road in Little Beaver Township – Closed due to downed tree in wires
As issues are addressed, roadways will be reopened as soon as they are safe.
Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Drivers are reminded to:
- Reduce speed and remain alert for debris on the roadway.
- Avoid driving through areas where trees, limbs, or wires are down.
- Allow extra time for travel.
- Never approach or drive over downed utility lines.
