    Bridge Washing Activities Start Wednesday in Lawrence County

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing washing activities on various bridges in Lawrence County will begin Wednesday, June 10 weather permitting.

    Bridge washing activities with lane restrictions will be conducted by Michael Facchiano Contracting weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM through late June on the following structures:

    • Route 551 Enon Bridge over the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Little Beaver Township
    • Route 168 bridge over the CSX Railroad in Taylor Township
    • Route 351 bridge just north of Route 551 in Little Beaver Township

    Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.

    Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
