Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a single-lane restriction on southbound Steubenville Pike (Route 60) in Robinson Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday, October 27 weather permitting.
There will be a single-lane restriction on southbound Steubenville Pike between Old Steubenville Pike and Lorish Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday. This restriction will be in place to allow crews to conduct thermoplastic paint operations at the Steubenville Pike intersection with the northbound I-79 interchange off-ramp.
Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Work on this $14.97 million highway restoration project in Robinson and Kennedy townships began in April 2024. The project begins at the I-376 Airport/Pittsburgh (Exit 59 A/B) interchange and continues approximately one-half mile north of the Route 60 Moon Run/Crafton (Exit 60 A/B) interchange. Work included bridge preservation work on six structures and signs, culvert repair work, as well as concrete pavement patching, guide rail and cable barrier replacement, highway lighting and signing updates, drainage work, pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction activities on mainline I-79 including ten ramps.
The prime contractor is Golden Triangle Construction Company, Inc.
