Route 50 Washington Pike Traffic Shift and Lane Restrictions Thursday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Route 50 (Washington Pike) in Collier and Scott townships, Allegheny County will occur Thursday, October 30 weather permitting.

The following traffic restrictions will be in place between Thoms Run Road and Greentree Road from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Thursday to accommodate emergency manhole repair work in the eastbound Route 50 lanes:

  • Traffic will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic in each direction
  • Eastbound traffic will be shifted into a westbound lane

Please use caution when driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
