Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing roadway improvement work on Mt. Royal Boulevard (Route 4019) in Hampton and Shaler townships, Allegheny County will continue Wednesday, November 19 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur between Route 8 and Grant Avenue from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mondays through Saturdays through mid-December as crews conduct roadway improvement work. When paving operations occur, restrictions will remain in place beyond 4:00 PM.
Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $11.89 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.
