Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing shoulder restrictions on Route 28 in O’Hara Township and Sharpsburg Borough, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, December 16-17 weather permitting.
Shoulder restrictions will occur in both directions of Route 28 at the Highland Park Bridge/Aspinwall (Exit 6) interchange each day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday as crews conduct ITS maintenance work.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
