Route 28 Graffiti Removal Wednesday, Thursday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing lane restrictions on Route 28 in the City of Pittsburgh, Millvale and Etna boroughs, and Shaler Township, Allegheny County will occur Wednesday and Thursday, December 3-4 weather permitting.

A single-lane restriction will occur on Route 28 from 10:00 AM to noon each day to allow crews to perform graffiti removal in the following locations:

Northbound Route 28

  • Between the I-279 North/East Ohio Street and 31st Street Bridge/Strip District (Exit 2) interchanges

Southbound Route 28

  • Between the North 8/Butler (Exit 5) and Millvale (Exit 3B) interchanges

Premier Power Cleaning will conduct the work.
