Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing slide repair work on Burtner Road (Route 1032) in Harrison Township, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, September 16 weather permitting.
Slide repair work requiring the closure of a portion of Burtner Road between Pleasantville Road and Bachman Drive will begin at approximately 7:00 AM Tuesday continually through the end of September. Crews will conduct slide repair work and shoulder reconstruction. Traffic will be detoured.

South of the Closure
- From Burtner Road, take the ramp to southbound Route 28 toward Pittsburgh
- Take the 366/Tarentum/New Kensington (Exit 14) off-ramp
- Turn right onto Bull Creek Road
- Turn right onto Ridge Road
- Follow Ridge Road back to Burtner Road
- End detour
North of the Closure
- From Burtner Road, turn onto Ridge Road heading south
- Turn left onto Bull Creek Road
- Turn left onto the ramp to northbound Route 28 toward Kittanning
- Take the Natrona Heights (Exit 15) off-ramp
- End detour
