Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing roadway improvement work on Route 1006 (Saxonburg Boulevard, Harts Run Road, Dorseyville Road, Fox Chapel Road, Guys Run Road) in Fox Chapel Borough, and Indiana and Harmar townships, Allegheny County will continue Wednesday, November 19 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic for drainage improvements and other roadway work will occur weekdays through mid-December on Route 1006 in the following locations:
· Saxonburg Boulevard between Klein Road and Harts Run Road in Indiana Township
· Harts Run Road between Saxonburg Boulevard and Dorseyville Road in Indiana Township and Fox Chapel Borough
· Dorseyville Road between Harts Run Road and Fox Chapel Road in Indiana Township
· Fox Chapel Road between Dorseyville Road in Indiana Township and Guys Run Road in Fox Chapel Borough
· Guys Run Road between Fox Chapel Road in Fox Chapel Borough and Locust Hill Road in Harmar Township
The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $11.89 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, base repair, pavement marking installation, and other various construction related activities.
