Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing pole replacement work on Kittanning Street (Route 1003) in Etna Borough, Allegheny County, will occur Thursday and Friday, November 20-21 weather permitting.
Pole replacement work requiring a detour of a portion of Kittanning Street between Lincoln Street and Catherine Street will occur according to the following schedule:
- Thursday, November 20 – 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 PM to Friday, November 21 at 5:00 AM
Traffic will be detoured.

North of the Work Zone
· Travel north on Kittanning Street
· Turn right onto Sharps Hill Road
· Turn left onto Seifried Lane
· Turn left onto Kirkwood Drive
· Turn right onto Kittanning Pike
· Kittanning Pike becomes North Canal Street
· Turn right onto Main Street
· Turn right onto Bridge Street
· Turn right onto Butler Street
· Turn right onto Kittanning Street
· End detour
South of the Work Zone
· Travel south on Kittanning Street
· Turn right onto northbound Route 8
· Turn right onto Saxonburg Boulevard
· Turn right onto Brownshill Road
· Turn right onto Dorseyville Road
· Dorseyville Road becomes Kittanning Street
· End detour
