Route 1001 High Street Gas Line Replacement Work Begins Thursday in New Wilmington

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing gas line replacement work on High Street (Route 1001) in New Wilmington Borough, Lawrence County will begin today, Thursday, September 18 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on High Street between Wynfield Lane and Wood Street weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM through mid-November. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.

Crews from Peoples Gas will conduct gas line replacement work.
