Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing an overnight lane restriction on northbound I-279 (Parkway North) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Thursday, September 8-11 weather permitting.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane on northbound I-279 near the Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) interchange nightly Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM to allow crews to conduct preparatory shoulder paving.
Crews from Swank Construction will conduct the repair work.
Please use caution if traveling through the corridor. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
