Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection work on the I-79 Neville Island Bridge in Robinson and Neville townships, and Glenfield Borough, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Friday, September 22-26 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for inspection activities according to the following schedule:
- Monday and Tuesday, September 22-23 – Northbound I-79
- Wednesday, September 24 – Southbound I-79
- Thursday, September 25 – No lane restrictions
- Friday, September 26 – Route 65 under the Neville Island Bridge
- Crews from Mackin Engineering will conduct the inspection work.
