Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing washing activities on the I-579 Veterans Bridge over the Allegheny River in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will continue Monday, November 17 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur on the Veterans Bridge in both directions from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM weeknights through Monday night, November 24 as crews from Green Acres Contracting conduct bridge washing activities.
Please use caution if using the bridge. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
