Drilling Work Begins Wednesday in Beaver County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions for drilling work on Route 168 (Elmwood Boulevard) and Route 551 (Hollow Road) in Darlington Township and Big Beaver Borough, Beaver County will begin Wednesday, September 24 weather permitting.

Drilling work requiring single-lane alternating traffic with flaggers will occur weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through early October on the following roadways:

  • Route 168 (Elmwood Road) between New Galilee Road and Ashwood Road
  • Route 551 (Hollow Road) between Haney Road and Wallace Drive

Crews from JMT, Inc. and All Ways Safe will conduct the work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zones.
