Wehrum Road Detour Postponed for Bridge Replacement in East Wheatfield Township

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT is alerting drivers that the previously announced closure of Route 2013 (Wehrum Road) for a bridge replacement project in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County will be postponed to a later date.

Originally scheduled to close, February 3 through July 23, this closure with a detour is being postponed with a date to be determined.

The closure on Route 2013 (Wehrum Road) will be located where Route 2012 (River Road) meets Route 2013 (Wehrum Road).

Contractor, Merlo Inc. of Mineral Point, PA will be completing this $3.93 million bridge replacement project for the structure carrying River Road over Mardis Run. It is anticipated to be completed in April 2027.
