Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a short-term closure on Route 288 in Zelienople Borough, Butler County as Vision Industries performs railroad crossing work on behalf of Bufalo and Pittsburgh Railroad.
July 9 at 7:00 AM through July 13 at 6:30 PM. Route 288 (New Castle Road) will be closed at the railroad crossing located between Market Street and Halstead Boulevard. Work is weather dependent.
To detour from the west side of the railroad tracks drivers will travel south on Route 288 and turn left onto Route 588. Turn left onto Hartzel School Road. Turn left onto Route 68. Turn left onto Route 19 and turn left onto Route 288.
To detour from the east side of the railroad tracks drivers will travel east on Route 288. Turn right onto Route 19. Turn right onto Route 68. Turn right onto Hartzell School Road. Turn right onto Route 588 and turn right on Route 288.
