Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a change in traffic patterns as bridge preservation work continues into phase 2 on the Zelienople Bridge on Route 19 in Zelienople Borough, Butler County.
During phase 2 northbound traffic will be maintained and southbound traffic will be detoured. To detour drivers will travel Little Creek Road, then onto I-79 South. Exit I-79 at Exit 85 to the Zelienople North Exit. Follow Route 19 back into Zelienople.
East Northview Drive is closed with traffic detouring on Route 19, to Route 68 (East Grandview Avenue) and onto Short Street. West Northview Drive is closed with traffic detouring on Route 19, to Route 68 (West Grandview Avenue) and onto North Clay Street.
The work for phase 2 is scheduled to begin today and continue through August 21. All work is weather dependent.
Allison Park Contractors, Inc. of Gibsonia Pa is completing this $1.9 million latex overlay project, which is estimated to be completed mid-August 2026.
