Paving Operations on Route 28 to Begin in Armstrong County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing paving operations on Route 28 south of Goheenville will begin June 8.

June 8 through mid-October, patching, paving, drainage work and guiderail upgrades will take place on Route 28 between the intersections of East Caldwell Road and Crissman Lane. A single lane restriction will be in place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Work and lane closures are weather dependent.

Contractor, Tresco Paving Cooperation of Pittsburgh, PA will be completing this $3.7 million project anticipated to be finished in October 2027.
