Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a paving project on Walnut Street (Route 217) in Blairsville, Indiana County.
April 27 through May 15, patching and paving will occur on Walnut Street (Route 217) between the Route 217 Bridge at the county line to the Route 22 interchange. Work will include drainage and guiderail upgrades. The on- and off-ramps at the Route 119 Route 22 interchange will also be paved.
Work will be from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM weather permitting with single lane restrictions controlled by flaggers.
Contractor, Derry Construction Co., Inc. of Derry, PA is completing this $3.1 million project which will include additional locations through Indiana County.
