Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a bridge replacement project Paint Mills Road in Paint Township, Clarion County.
Paint Mills Road will be closed June 1 through August 21 for the replacement of the existing bridge carrying Route 4029 (Paint Mills Road) over Paint Creek.
To detour from the southern side of the bridge, drivers will travel on Route 66 south to the intersection of Route 322, then turn right on to Route 322 west. Continue to the intersection of Route 208 in Shippenville. Turn right onto Route 208 and continue to the intersection of Paint Mills Road (Route 4029). Turn right onto Paint Mills Road to the bridge.
To detour from the northern side of the bridge, drivers will travel on Route 208 south to the intersection of Route 322 in Shippenville, turn left onto Route 322 and travel to the intersection of Route 66. Turn left onto Route 66 and continue to the intersection of Paint Mills Road. Turn left onto Paint Mills Road to the bridge.
Francis J. Palo, Inc. of Clarion, PA is completing this $1.7 million bridge replacement project, which is estimated to be completed by the end of August 2026.
