Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing night closures on Route 66 northbound and South Water Street for the Graff and Infantry Bridge preservation projects in North Buffalo and Manor Townships, Armstrong County.
May 5 through May 23, there will be closures from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM on Route 66 northbound and South Water Street from the Infantry Bridge to the intersection of South Water Street/Indiana Road/Hill Street (Old 66) as crews pour the bridge deck. Work and closures are weather dependent.
To detour, drivers will travel Route 66 South to Route 128 (5th Avenue) to 17th Street to Hill Street (Old 66) to South Water Street.
Contractor, Swank Construction Company of New Kensington, PA will be completing this $45.6 million project anticipated to be complete at the end of October 2027.
