Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing lane restrictions beginning at 9:00 AM Monday, February 16 on Franklin Road (Route 3021) in Cranberry Township, Butler County.
Work will be completed February 16 through August 31 between the intersections of Route 228 and Peters Road on Franklin Road (Route 3021). There will be multiple intermittent single lane restrictions 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with flagging operations. Delays are to be expected.
This is a safety improvement project that includes shoulder widening, installation of edge-line rumble strips, and sight distance improvements along Franklin Road. This is a four-year project which has a current completion date in early November 2027.
Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College, PA will be completing this four-year $19.1 million project.
