Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that patching and epoxy work is estimated to begin June 1 on four bridges in Butler County.
Bridges include the following in Summit, Adams, and Penn townships:
- Route 3017 Bridge: South of the Mars-Evens City Road and Myonma Road intersection.
- Route 228 Bridge: East of the Mars Valencia Road and Route 228 intersection.
- Route 8 Bridge: North of the Renfrew Road and Pittsburgh Road (Route 8) intersection.
- Route 422 Bridge: East of the Geibel Road and Route 422 intersection.
A lane restriction will be in effect as crews patch and seal the bridges to preserve the deck. Work is weather permitting. Motorists should use caution when travelling through the work zone.
Contractor, Ram Construction Services of Michigan, Inc., will be completing this $427,237 project which is estimated to be completed by the end of June 2026.
